Security Audits

Check that the security you pay for actually works.

The scenario

The procedures exist, the security contract is signed, the cameras are installed. But nobody checks whether patrols are carried out, whether access control works, whether guards know the procedures or whether the emergency plan still matches reality. The failure only shows on the day of the incident.

Who it is for

Organisations with security in place that want to know whether it works; that contract security providers and need to control the service; or that must demonstrate compliance with standards and client requirements.

What it includes

  • Site audit: perimeter, access points, lighting, CCTV, alarms and physical barriers.
  • Procedure audit: existence, suitability, awareness and compliance.
  • Audit of the security operation and the contracted security provider: manning, patrols, training, supervision and contract compliance.
  • Physical and procedural penetration testing, when contracted.
  • Verification against the applicable standards: ISO 18788, ANSI/ASIS PSC.1, ISO 31000, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001.

What you receive

  • Audit report with gaps ranked by severity.
  • Measures for each gap, with priority.
  • Indicators to verify that each gap is closed.

How it starts

By defining what will be audited and to what depth: document audit, on-site audit or audit with testing.
